Straight from a fabulous estate sale at a lovely old home, this gorgeous piece is in a pattern that is alternately called Three Faces, Three Sisters, or Three Graces. It was produced in non-flint pattern glass by George Duncan & Sons beginning in 1878. However, it was later re-issued by L.G. Wright Glass, so I can't tell you exactly who produced this particular piece or when -- although anything in this pattern is generally hard to find. This is a tall compote or covered jelly jar. It has a three-mold foot and is in clear glass except for the foot and faces, which are frosted glass. The base measures 4 1/2" in diameter x 6" tall - and with the lid on, the piece measures 9" tall. This piece appears to be in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or other damage. Regardless of whether it's vintage or antique, this is a stunning and hard to find piece to enjoy displaying and using !!
