I am selling several pieces from my extensive collection of Tibetan and Chinese antiques and curiosities. These are all extraordinary objects, collected over the past several years. Please be sure to check my other listings! This item is a vintage Tibetan bronze scultpure, gilt with 24K gold, of Padmapani, a form of Avolokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of compassion. It came from the Jokhang Monastery, which is known for it's exceptional collection of bronze and gold sculpture. This sculpture measures 18" high, 5.5" wide, and weighs 9 pounds. The detail and craftsmanship of this unique collectible is extraordinary.
