Tiffany & Co sterling silver picture frame with a polished wooden back, a very handsome piece in their well-known tailored/modernist aesthetic. A vintage estate piece from a very good Dallas picker resource and guaranteed vintage; I would date it to about 1940 - 1980. Well-marked as shown with impressed lettering on the underside of the bottom rim "Tiffany & Co" and "Makers" [denotes that the piece was made in Tiffany's own workrooms and not just retailed by them] and "Sterling Silver" and with a model number "25554" or "25564" Authenticity is unconditionally guaranteed and your money [less shipping] cheerfully refunded with *no questions asked* if you buy it and don't agree that it is authentic after you see it in person, but check out the pics and I really don't think you're going to want to give it back. Measures about 4.125" square and the image opening is about 3.4" in diameter; this frame would be perfect for displaying a lightly trimmed 4x6 photo. Excellent condition as the pics show, but please note the two areas minor scratching near the bottom of the frame [see pic #1]. Otherwise, a light patina of polishing scratches only, no pings, dings, dents, scratches, missing bits, repairs, monograms, removals, etc. No problems with the wooden back or the glass and it stands fine with no problems. Overall, the pics are very honest and show the condition well and you will not be disappointed in the condition of this piece. NO RESERVE and a nominal start and the pics tell the rest of the story, a nice eBay opportunity.
