Here is a vintage 1920's to early 30's J. Chein tin toy army transport truck measuring about 8 inches long and made in the USA. This rare toy truck looks nice and will display well in a vintage toy collection. It is unfortunately missing its bed which was originally a shallow box type bed with benches on either side. The truck is in otherwise good condition with good paint and lithographs. The tin metal stock used to make this truck is very thin. It is not much thicker than that used in a soda can. Therefore, there are some bends in the metal body and it is not perfectly straight. I do not believe any of these trucks could be perfectly straight due to how thin the metal is. The truck rolls well, but the wheels do wobble when it is rolled. It is sold as is with the defects mentioned, but it will still display nicely in your vintage toy collection. These trucks are quite rare due to the age of them and fact that they are constructed of very thin metal and are fragile.Feel free to ask me any questions about this toy truck.
