This wonderful little friction-motored Japanese tin lithographed toy horse van from the late 1950s was mine as a boy. It was packed away in my parents' attic along with all my other toys (I was an only-child) until I sold the house in 2014. After much deliberation, I have decided to part with it in order to give someone new a chance to enjoy it as I did a long time ago. The colors on the truck are bright, but there are a few minor rust spots and a noticeable one on the left hood (see photographs). The friction motor works fairly well, and I think it would work even better if rolled around to loosen up the mechanism. The horses move almost perfectly or probably almost as good as when the toy was new. It was manufactured by Stone in Japan as the markings indicate. The vehicle measures approximately 7 3/4 inches long by 3 inches high. The side door probably can be coaxed open, but I did not force the issue.A great addition to any toy collection!I DO NOT SHIP TO ALASKA OR HAWAII.
