A fine, little used, boxed No.4 smoothing plane by STANLEY. Fitted with hardwood handles and a vitually unused blade iron. 'BAILEY No4 MADE IN ENGLAND' marked in the casting with 'STANLEY MADE IN ENGLAND' on the 2 inch blade. Lovely clean sole. 9.3/4 inches (245mm) overall length. A great and useable example.
