Best of luck bidding! *Offer applies ONLY to toy items sold at auction on Saturday, May 21st.This is an Original, Tootsietoy Mack Automobile Transport Set, Produced by The Master Craftsmen of the Doust Manufacturing Company of Chicago, Illinois, Circa 1930's . This toy measures approx. 11" long overall and is all metal, with the exception of the rubber tires on the Mack truck. I believe this toy to be all original paint & parts. These sets also came with a shorter trailer, with a Mack truck with metal wheels, that carried only three cars and that set is much more common. This four car set is quite difficult to find. Each car measures approx. 2.25" long and is all metal. There are two two-door sedans and two four-door sedans. Excellent replacement tires for the Mack truck are available. I am selling this lot based ENTIRELY on the photos, so please look it over carefully before bidding. These old toys look great on Lionel, American Flyer, Ives & other vintage train layouts and displays! PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PHOTOS ARE AN INTEGRAL and a VERY IMPORTANT PART OF THIS LISTING. I sometimes use Priority Mail shipping cartons as well. At any rate, I do SLIGHTLY "PAD" the shipping charges on each shipment, to cover my purchase of cartons, loose fill, tissue paper, packing paper, bubble wrap, packing tape, rubber bands, shipping labels,"FRAGILE" labels, printing cartridges, etc. From what I see others doing, I feel the way I do this, it is really reasonable to ensure that your purchase arrives safe and sound. I DO NOT MAKE MONEY ON SHIPPING or SHIPPING SUPPLIES! 3. I use the "Shipping Calculator" to determine the fairest and most accurate shipping cost. Shipping charges to AK or HI may be higher, please ask. I try to offer buyers at least two shipping choices--MOST OF THE TIME, usually USPS Priority Mail and USPS Parcel Select. I try to stay with USPS, but I reserve the right to ship via FedEx instead, whichever I feel is best.
