This is an amazing vintage Tortalini signed necklace from their Zodiac collection. It is a huge heavy piece with magnificent detail. The pendant is about 3.5 inches long. It comes with a chain of about 31 inches. This is an incredible find. I found it in "Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry" by Marcia "Sparkles" Brown. I am 99.99% certain it is the same piece but I am not an expert. The parure in the book includes this necklace and is valued at $1100! This is a hard to find rare piece. We snatched Mikey out of a blizzard last winter along with his feral sister. His sister was a healthy girl with only a cold. She was placed in a new home. Mikey unfortunately was not so lucky. Despite antibiotics he was not getting well. Further tests showed that Mikey had 13 seperate infections and was not recovering because he was FIV positive. FIV can not be cured but cats who are infected can live long normal lives in the right homes. They can not be allowed out doors and must not be in a home w they will breed or fight with other cats. After 2 months we finally had poor little Mikey back on his feet. He was only 6 months old at the time and had simply decided he wanted to be tame! After many months of trying Mikey still had no home because of his medical status. One of our founders who had recently lost another FIV positive cat decided to take Mikey home and make him one of her own. Mikey Monkey is a crazy little cat with a incredible personality.
