This is a great vintage toy Electric Singer Sew Handy child's sewing machine. Lock-stitch. Excellent condition, no paint loss and no heavy scratches or nicks. Works perfectly - great for the young sewer. Although sold as a toy of yesteryear - you can actually sew and/or mend - I have one for my granddaughter and it SEWS- simply but beautifully! The machine is all metal and build to last. It comes with its own snap on plastic cover. On/off switch, presser switch (hand controlled), no bobbin to fool with-- just thread the needle and go! Excellent quality machine! You will never find this kind of quality in the toy sewing machines today. These little machines are becoming more rare and are unbeatable to teach a youngster how to sew or an excellent find for a collector!
