TWA toy airplane from the late 1950's to early 1960's measures 16 1/2 inches long from nose to tail. Top of plane and top of wings is metal with the underbelly looking like a hard type plastic and plastic on tail wings, door, side lights and part of back wheels. Front wheels look like rubber. Side of plane says TWA, N900TW, DC-9. Uses two D batteries (not included) that easily load on bottom with plate cover and closing lock. On/Off switch on bottom. When switch is slid to ON, the plane engine starts up, the white front passenger door opens, and the orange steps come out and down. Then the steps go back in and the door closes, the red tail lights light up and the plane starts to take off and moves across your floor. VERY COOL! Some minor flecks of rust looking spots on wings. Otherwise in excellent working condition. Winning bidder to pay Priority Shipping which should run between $8 to $10, depending on delivery zone. Priority delivery is 2 to 3 business days. SHIPPING TO USA ONLY PLEASE. Thank you!
