I'm selling this lathe for a friend so don't know much about it. It has been stored for quite a while but looks in reasonable condition. Pickup only from Andover and cash on collection please. I've now cleaned it up and taken some more pictures and it seems in good condition bearing in mind its age. There does not seem any obvious faults and the cross slide, chuck and headstock move smoothly. Although the name plate is missing it lookslike a No.3 Britannia lathe with a back gear arrangement. Bed length is 30",height over bed 3".Chuck is 3" dia. self centering. Distance between chuck and tail stock is 16" The belt needs replacing and the tool drawer is missing and there is only one size support on the woodworking tool post. All in all the lathe the lathe seems to have all the original features without any modern modifications and would take little restoration.
