Vintage Tri-fold Houbigant Powder & Rouge Compact

This is an old rouge and powder compact from the 1930's, made by Houbigant. The front cover features an enamered flower arrangement in a basket, with blue ribbon. The compact is six-sided, and gold-tone, with a working latch. The bottom has a cross-hatched design. The edges and bottom show some wear, the basket lid is in very good condition. Upon opening, a face powder pot is revealed with a furry yellow puff. The lidded side is goldtone and says, "Houbigant". T is a small latch on this gold lid that, when opened, reveals a rouge pot and mirror. The powder is very light, almost white, and has been heavily used. The rouge is bright pink, and t is an ample amount left. The mirror appears to be perfect. This tri-fold compact, and yellow puff, is a really wonderful little set.
