This auction is for a used Vintage True Temper Vulcan Kelly Works Single Bit Ax Head 5lbs.Marking on the axe: TRUE TEMPER VULCAN KELLY WORKS 5This is a nice clean heavy ax head. It was will taken care of. All the edges look clean.Blades are 4-3/4 in. Blade looks good with some light nicks and scratches to the edge. Over all to me a clean edges. Previous owner had sharpen it.Yes the head is darken, scratches, light surface rust, light surface pitting from age, use and storage. But over all a clean head.Size of the handle eye: 2-1/2" X 3/4" Some surface rust inside the eye. The weight of the axe head is 4 lbs. 14.3 oz.The head was checked for cracks or breaks. Ax head that needs a handle and good sharpen job. Then it wood be ready for the outdoors man and splitting fire wood. Or some one collection.PLEASE look at the pictures closely to see the condition of the Ax .This is a Estate sale find.
