This is a great beginner horn.A new K&H trumpet today sells for $1200 dollars.Kuhl & Hoyer is a German instrument maker.According to their office this horn was made in the 1950-60's. serial # 22194.Its finish is original,valves function well.Horn plays well. The tuning slide is stuck in the closed position.(Ive never needed it to function). The instrument case is in good condition.I purchased this horn,to see if I could play again after 45years..Happily, I am able to play and purchased an expensive silver plated horn.This horn still has alot of life left.Cheap way for a beginner to start.
