SCHULTZ : We're happy to announce that we are offering a vast array of items from the Schultz estate that remained in his Hoboken brownstone after the balance of material was picked up by the major auction houses. Kenneth Schultz was the worlds foremost collector of Ocean Liner memorabilia, and also collected film costumes, Hollywood ephemera and a stunning assortment of cat collectibles. *************************************** Another winner from Kenneth Schultz's amazing collection! 's an authentic antique Art Deco Twin Nudes Lamp. I know this model lamp has been attributed to Frankart - but t is NO Frankart name to be found on the base. T is a patent number on the back of the bottom of both nudes feet that reads "PAT. D 7720". The Twin Nudes design of the base is classic art deco, but what I really LOVE is the geometric glass shade. Its lovely amber color combined with the excellent design are really exciting. The lamp measures 20" tall, overall. The base alone is 12" tall, and the shade is 9" tall by 6" in diameter. The condition of the base unit is only fair. T is some enamel loss to the nudes and to the base. The top section w the bulb is and the shade attaches is bent - but functional. The shade attaches firmly and stands up straight. Its in very good condition, the glass having absolutely no chips or cracks. The electrical aspect is fine, and as you can see, the lamp lights up and really looks great. T's absolutely no reason this piece can't be restored to it's original glory, but you can use it just as it is now with no problems whatsoever. Ken Schultz didn't collect reproduction pieces. So, while the condition may not be the best, let's face it, you just don't see too many affordable originals come to market. Don't pass up this rare opportunity.
