Offered here is a complete set, including the original box, of Uncle Wiggily paperback books published in 1939 by the Platt & Munk Company. Titles are: Uncle Wiggily and The Apple Dumpling, Uncle Wiggily and The Peppermint, Uncle Wiggily Learns to Dance, Uncle Wiggily and The Red Spots, Uncle Wiggily and The Snow Plow, Uncle Wiggily and The Sleds, Uncle Wiggily and The Canoe, and Uncle Wiggily and The Barber. They are numbered 3600 A through H and are in very nice condition. The box is in rough condition, as you can see in the picture, but it's all there. The books are complete and have no handwriting or names written anywhere. Signs of use can be seen, but nothing major. The back covers have a poem and black and white drawing of the characters in the story. They measure about 7 x 8 inches. I am a long-time collector of children's books and am paring down the collection.Paypal payment is expected within three days of auction close.
