This old vintage holster has quick disconnect fittings on the skirt. It is pretty unique and probably not many around. The best I can come up with is that it was made to be mounted and removed from a vehicle. Take it with you when you go out and when you get home unsnap it and take it in the house with you. Someone told me it was for a model T Ford but I do not know that as fact. It could be adapted to anything really; car, motorcycle, saddle etc. Anyway, look at the photos and see what you think and decide if it would be worth bidding on! Condition is pliable leather with age cracking, small cuts, tears, scuffs and scrapes. The toe seam is undone and at one time was glued together. There is a belt loop added to the back for wearing and there are two extra holes and some cuts on the back. The first couple of stitches at the top in the hammer area are pulled. Please view the photos for evaluating its condition. A 4 3/4" barrel Colt SAA fits it and it looks like a 5 1/2" would also work. Probably any large frame revolver would fit in it. No maker mark or stampings on it anywhere. Mail will be priority mail for a fixed fee of $5.00. (Prop shown is not part of the auction; just the holster). Thanks.
