For your consideration, may I present this Lovely, Vintage UNITED Pot Belly Stove Motion Clock and Lamp with Amazing Animated Fire Effects! Step back in time to a simpler place, and a simpler time... the days when the pot belly stove flickered merrily in the corner of the country store, or a warm farm house... This little white pot belly stove is a scarce and highly sought after, quality vintage motion clock, and sweet soft lamp (night light). The clock is made of brass, I believe, and is factory painted white antque. The clock face is fine, with shiny gold lettering and detailing, The whole clock is in wonderful condition. The clock runs fine, and has a sweeping second hand as well. The details are beautiful. The casing is very good, with no damags anyw that I can find. The color is bright and nice, not dull and discolored as many of these very old motion clocks can be. I would consider it in excellent Extra Fine condition, and it shows extremely little wear. The fire effects are charming and it really appears to be a real fire flickering and glowing in t! This is the exact same motion effects found on Mastercrafters fireplace lamps, except this clock is a different style and is made of metal.. I love both, but this is much harder to come by, and was definitely a much more expensive clock. The soft light from the fire's glow is wonderful and calming, and makes a fine night light as well. I believe this clock was made in the 1930's or 1940's, and for a vintage clock around 60+ years old, it is a rare quality find! Clock measures about 9 inches wide and 9 1/2 inches tall. It is made of heavy brass, solid and well made. I am currently selling some of my finest vintage peices, and this clock is from my the personal collection of a close family member who has medical needs and asked to sell it to help with bills (It was a gift from me, and I only give my very best as gifts). It runs very well, and should give you many years of happy enjoyment. It is very quiet as well, but not silent. All motion clock have some mechanical noise, but this one is very minor, and my relative did not notice it at all, though I could hear a slight sound. These clocks can be passed down from generation to generation, and are always the focal point in any room. As the holidays quickly approach, it is time to consider a gift for that special person. This clock is fabulous for almost anyone, and I really can't think of anyone who would not love it, especially somebody who loves unique and rare vintage collectables.
