This auction is for a RARE UNITED SESSIONS SEMI NUDE HULA GIRL LIGHTED ANIMATED MOTION CLOCK . This clock is a real beauty and very hard to find in my opinion it is in MINT CONDITION for a vintage clock but you be the judge. The clock has the SESSION type movement. The dial is marked UNITED SELF STARTING, UNITED CLOCK CORP., BROOKLYN, N.Y. The back is marked MANUFACTURED BY UNITED METAL GOODS MFG. CO. INC. PAT NO. 2.140.365. I'm not sure of the age of the clock my guess would be around 1940's or early 50's? It has the time set knob on the back, a light switch to turn the light off or on and the knob to start or stop the animated motion part of the clock while it is running. The clock measures approx. 13" H x 9" W. The case is made out of wood which looks like STUNNING RED MAHOGANY. As you can see in the first picture the clock had the light on. This clock is not only rare it's in beautiful condition. The clock case is in very nice condition with no defects except for one or two tiny nicks in the wood and it is shiny. The clock dial has no defects and the surprising part is it is not yellowed from age.The rim around the clock is gold and shiny and the clock glass has no defects.
