My mother passed away a few years ago. We were very close and although devastated, I was in charge of carrying out her will and her wishes. My brothers and I divided what was important to us in the estate and I was in charge of auctioning the rest. In the end, either because of emotion or because it just hurt too much to part with her things, I ultimately kept too much. My husband sat me down and helped me to realize that our house is just too crowded. Most of the things are piled to the top in closets. This is wrong and we have both decided they need to be where they can be seen, loved and - more importantly - used. My husband and I are retirees and will never use many of these things. So... Here goes. Most of the pieces I am listing have been passed down in my family and originated from either my Mom, my grandmother or one of my great aunts. A few are from my husband and I - acquired in our 37 year marriage. All pieces auctioned will be mailed out priority mail, insured. Because of packages disappearing or arriving damaged, I only ship within the United States or Canada, so my apologies to those overseas.
