Vintage University of Texas Mechanical Pencil Vintage Longhorn collectors, 's your pencil!! This orange and silvertone pencil was found at an estate sale and is such a classic piece. It features the traditional hand gesture and the words "Hook 'Em Horns". At the end of the pencil is the symbol of the Longhorn done in orange. The protective plastic part has long since turned an yellow orange color itself, reflecting the age of the pencil. The manufacturer of the pencil was "Garland U.S.A" .
