vintage unusual 1948 star ring 2 shilling coin with inscription 1940s -2597The ring appears to have been fashioned from a 1948 2 shilling coin, and the text of this coin along with the date runs top and bottom inside the ring band with evidence of a thinner ring band running around the middle of the piece. Presumably a home-made wedding ring in the postwar years when money was tight and resources were limited?size - Q 1/2 or 8 1/2 condition - very good my ref - 2597 combined shipping is FREE on subsequent items - you only pay once for postage!
