For sale is this ever so sweet Never opened vintage Luster Brite Package of Valentines. The cardboard heart contains 36 Valentines for boys and girls to send. It comes with gummed envelopes and a special card for Teacher. It has been endorsed by a Teachers panel. The panel of certified elementary school teachers found these cards to possess wholesomeness of content, suitable color, good context and language and good social attitudes. It cost 59 cents in its day which I figure to be in 1940's-1950's. The condition is excellent for its age. It has never been opened, I have not seen the cards except through the cellophane heart. In the front the package is very clean with a speck of a spot over the word gummed and there is a very faint faded line by the puppy's ear. On the back there is a smudge spot in the area of writing. There is also a half inch crease in the paper where it says manufactured by Fuld and Company,Rockaway,NJ, Made in USA. There is a small tear at the bottom where the heart package is folded less then a half inch as shown in picture. On very close scrutiny the package shows signs of age but considering how old it is, it is in remarkably good condition. Buyer pays shipping and insurance. Invoice will be sent when item is sold. Thank-you for looking. Please email with any questions.
