Vintage Vendo 44 Coca Cola Machine - Fully Restored both inside and out. The Vendo 44, produced from the mid to late 50's, is one of the most popular and sought after machines. It has been referred to in some instances as a "beauty shop machine" due to its smaller size. This vintage machine is 97% original and has been completely restored both inside and out. The entire cabinet and door was sandblasted to bare metal, treated to remove rust, primed with a automotive primer and top coated with a Coca Cola red single stage paint from Sherwin-Williams Automotive Coatings as well as the white. A new electrical cord has been put on the machine to bring it up to date and for safety in today's use since the original cord was so old and brittle. The cabinet and door was alsore-insulated and all gaskets replaced. The coin mechanism is set for a dime just as it would have been in it's original state. The machine still has it's original compressor that has been cleaned, rewired, and recharged. The condenser motor has been replaced as well. This machine, like many others like it, gives us a connection with those such as our parents or grandparents and allows us to put ourselves in their shoes if not but for a moment.I would prefer the machine to be picked up locally in Orange Park, Florida.
