VINTAGE VERNON KILNS HAND PAINTED CHINTZ SUGAR DISH HTF MANUFACTURED BY: Vernon Kilns AGE / PRODUCTION: 1942 - 1950 COLOR / PATTERN: See Photo MEASUREMENTS: 4 1/2 inches tall to top of lid - 6 inches wide at the handles MARKS OR LOGOS: See Photo CONDITION: E xcellent vintage condition - It has a small chip on the inside rim of the dish (at arrow) mostly on the underside - Has some brown spots on the rim as well - no other damage found - Beautiful luster, bright colors REMARKS: Estate Sale Find! This is an original Vernon Kilns piece, not Metlox. Hand painted over transfer, with free hand accents on the handles and lid. The old Vernon Kilns pieces are very hard to find.
