I'm auctioning 2 Vintage Vicks VapoRub Cobalt Blue jars. They belonged to my Mother's medicine cabinet so they are from the 50's I'd say. One jar is complete with all original labels encircling the jar completely. Only small piece missing w active ingredients list is along top edge and bottom edge. This jar is the 1 1/2 oz size. Measures 2 1/4" high, 1 1/2" diameter. Second jar does not have any label. Measures 1 1/2" high, 1 1/2" diameter. Both jar lids are in excellent condition. No rust or paint loss. Red and White graphics Rub it On, Use in Steam around edge. Vicks VapoRub in middle. Bottam of jars show the 3 V's in the glass center. One jar says Vicks VapoRub 55, Second jar says Vicks VapoRub 71 in the glass on bottom. So since each jar is slightly different they would be great for a collector. Maybe the number refers to the jar contents size in ounces or the year.? Comes from a smoke free home. Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii is $2.00 extra.
