This CLASSIC VINTAGE VICTORIAN REVIVAL ENGLISH 9CT YELLOW ROLLED GOLD ETCHED BANGLE BRACELET is an Elegant Retro/Vintage Treasure circa 1940 ! This Gorgeous Vintage Piece bears the following authentication marks stamped inside of the bracelet (as seen in the pictures): British Maker's Mark: "B. LTD" British Hallmark: "9ct Rolled Gold" British Patent: "Patent No. 1167637"The bracelet is an English Vintage Victorian Revival 9ct Y ellow Rolled Gold Etched Bangle (w/ functional vertical tongue-in-groove clasp, and intact safety chain ) featuring elaborate patterned etchings around the front half of this gorgeous artifact, and a high polished finish on the back half. T is an elaborate textured border all the way around the bracelet, and it is a solid bangle, not hollow!!! This incredible piece is Hallmarked 9ct Rolled Gold and weighs 13.9 Grams ! Rolled Gold is made by creating a layer , or sheet of gold, and bonding it to another metal (usually jeweler's brass); rolled gold jewelry contains significantly more gold than either gold filled or gold plated jewelry. Vintage Rolled Gold Bangles are comparable to today's lower carat (i.e., 10K Gold ) in terms of durability/wearability; these pieces were made to last a lifetime! This English Vintage Victorian Revival 9ct Rolled Gold Bangle is in absolutely PRISTINE Condition! It looks as if it was never worn! T is NO wear to the Gold on the outer surface of the bracelet, or to the inside of the bangle. T are NO scratches, dings, or dents on this piece! The piece measures 8 mm in width all the way around the bracelet; the inside diameter of the bracelet is 2 & 3/8 inches X 2 inches , and will fit a medium sized 6.5 to 7 inch wrist!
