Over the next several months, I will be selling vast collections of wonderful vintage antiques which I have lovingly accumulated of over the past 50 years, as I am now downsizing. Vintage Christmas items, kitchen clocks, Lladro & Waterford crystal Santa figurines, cookie jars, gorgeous vintage English stained glass windows, craft items and much, much more will be listed on Ebay.

This auction is for a one of several wonderful framed vintage religious pictures I will be listing on Ebay. This particular picture is the gorgeous Victorian picture of a mother, two daughters and son (or possibly a teacher) playing a piano and singing Christmas carols in front of a breathtaking framed picture of the Madonna and Child, surrounded by angels. Just look at the detailing in the brocade drape to the right, the chandelier, the holly and berry candle to the left and the beautiful vintage clothing. I know very little of this picture, as it is not signed, however, I have had it in my home for over 50 years. It has very faint coloring (orange on the drapes, blue on the little boy's tie, gold on the girls waist ribbon and holly berries and yellow on the woman's hair and candle flame. The old stamp on the back says, DeFries Art Store Fine Arts 223 Main St. Ann Arbor, Mich". It is in beautiful condition for its age, as is the gold leaf frame, though the picture is a bit wavy. You may want it remounted. I have no idea if it is original or a copy, an etching or otherwise sorry. Though I am not an art expert, I know it is beautiful and very inspiring. It measures appr oximately 9.5" high by 7.5" across, at its widest points. One rarely sees Victorian Christmas scenes like this. I have always treasured this print.
