You are bidding on an antique VICTORIAN Glass Oil lamp . It has a stamp of the RAYO CO. Made in the USA .. I was told this lamp dates back to about 1900. I am not sure of the actual age of this piece. I obtained a few old lamps from my aunts antique shop when she passed away in 1983. We have been storing all of her stuff in my parents house...this is a very old oil or kerosene burning lamp that...The glass is in great shape, Has a base of brass or bronze...it is very heavy...the pictures do not do the Red Glass Justice...The burner is a #2 Queen in good shape, it still opens....It is truly in amazing condition for its age...the burner is in great condition and even has the original wick (you can tell it's old) VERY COOL PIECE ...we have seen a lot of these come through the shop but this one stands out in the crowd...email me with any questions.
