Offered for auction is a beautiful Green Victorian Scrapbook with Gilt Lettering and Decorative Cover. This Scrap Book is amazing for a number of reasons. First of all, it is inscribed to Alice Gough Christmas Gift December 25, 1883 New Philadelphia from Mother. Many times when you see these books they are compiled over a period of years. This one not only tells who, when, w, but also includes why. This book includes over 500 die cuts, greeeting cards, calling cards, trade cards, and etc. T are also some articles and pieces of ribbon. Though the book is inscribed "New Philadelphia" I know it is New Philadelphia Ohio becasause most of the trade cards are from small towns in the central section of the eastern part of the state.
