Here is a vintage Vietnam era Gentex pilot's helicopter helmet! Size Regular. The inner liner was replaced by the previous owner, and looks to be in new and unused condition. The earcups have new gel covers as well, and are also looking new. The visor was replaced, and again, in pretty new conditon. The helmet shell has wear, but, much less that what is usually found on helmets of this age. The only real issue that I can find is that the housing that contains the visor needs a couple of screws to secure it in place, and needs a gasket spacer, which is provided, but I am unsure if it is the correct type, as it is new, but, looks to be right. All in all, this helmet needs very little to be complete and in service. It does come with a Gentex helmet box, but, the box is for a modern SPH-4B helmet. Boom microphone, and plug-in look good, although I cannot test the avionics.
