Vintage Randall Made Knife Model #14 "Attack" 7-1/2" Tool Steel Blade Double Brass Hilt Fingered Black Micarta HandleUnlined Lanyard / Thong Hole Riveted Johnson Roughback SheathAll Lanyards Included Solid Gray Sharpening Stone Randall Made Knives Carry Case Excellent+++ Condition My summary: this is a vintage Vietnam Era Randall model 14 "Attack" and riveted Johnson roughback sheath for consideration. This is a really neat knife and sheath -- the knife is damn near mint and the sheath is excellent+++ or better. It's one hell of a package -- 's a detailed description of the offering: probable late1960's (could be early 70's) RMK model 14 with a 7.5" tool steel blade, double brass hilt, and a fingered black micarta handle with lanyard. The lanyard hole is unlined. The blade is in near mint condition and exhibits only a few very light insertion marks. The knife has NOT been shop cleaned -- the grind lines at a slight angle and absolutely beautiful. (see photo 11) The knife still has it's original edge and has not been resharpened since leaving RMK nearly 4 decades ago. The hilt has tarnished and I've chosen not to mess with it. I like the look and I think it adds to the overall appearance of the piece. The fingered black micarta handle is in perfect shape and exhibits no handling.
