TWO Vintage Viking Glass Mushroom Paperweights or Figurine s: One Blue-One Topaz This auc tion features two wonderful mushroom figurines or paperweights from New Mart insville/ Viking Glass Company. Each mushroom measures 2 1/2 inches tall, and 3 inches across at the widest point. Included are one blue and one topaz/amber mushroom. O ne of my favorite things about these pieces, is that the underside of the mushroom "cap" is textured and looks just like a real mushroom. Otherwise the glass is smooth but yet contoured to give the mushroom a re alistic shape. Terrific quality made pieces! Both figures s are without any cracks, chips, scratches, or other damage. The glass is nice and clear and the col ors are very rich and deep. The one th ing I do want to mention is that at the very bottom edge of the blue piece, there is a small area where the finish looks a little dull....almost like it's been polished. I'm not sure what this is from as it was there when I got it it but want to mention it to be accurate in my description. Y ou have to really look to see it and it d oesn't interfere with the great looks of the piece. Please see the photos and e-mail me with any que stions you have.
