This solidly built 2-piece vintage daybed modernist sofa setis from the early 60's, and was aquired from the original owner, who isdownsizing. They have had it in their pet-free home for over 45 years. The cream colored vinyl is in excellent condition (no punctures, holes, tears, stains or repairs) although the color has changed slightly from the original. It may be able to be brought back to the original color with a good cleaning, but we have not attempted this. The color difference was noticable when we compared the side cushion (which the original owner never used, but kept all these years in an attic) with the rest of the couch - the cushion is brighter (see picture #6 showing just 2 cushions). We have also taken pictures of rusty discolorations on the bottom (around the staples), the back around the metal braces, and the end - we did take a damp cloth to the underside edge, and the rust wiped off with very little effort.The cushions are all original, as well. They are also in excellent condition with no tears or punctures. They are somewhat misshapen, as gravity and use have taken a bit of a toll on the original shape. It appears the vinyl is in good enough condition that it may be possible to retrain it back into shape.This piece is unmarked, maker unknown.
