Vintage AMF / VOIT Blue 50 FATHOM VCR-2 double hose regulator. 1959-1961It has been completely restored to better than new functionality and durability. New silicone hoses, mouth piece, valves, duck bill, gasket, main diaphragm, hose clamps, stainless band clamp.A long yoke has been fitted to allow for use with banjo fitting for a high pressure gauge. (no banjo fitting included)The high flow port has been realigned to create as much venturi effect for best possible breathing performance.This regulator has been serviced and tuned. It is ready to be used safely by a properly trained and certified scuba diver.I am a Scuba shop owner, repair technician, and trimix instructor for over 20 years. This regulator has been in my personal collection for all of that time. Finally restored it to its full potential after all these years. Used it in the pool for the first time since I've owned it. Just had to get that picture. It breaths well, better than a lot of new single hose regulators. Not quite as good as the two stage double hose regulators, but more than acceptable for recreational scuba diving. Lloyd Bridges would be proud of this 50 year old regulator. This is the model he used in the Sea Hunt series.
