DESCRIPTION: is a high quality vintage volunteer fire fighter ring with a faceted red gemstone. On the sides are different fire fighter symbols. Around the gemstone is "Volunteer Fire Fighter". Large size 11. Weighs approx. 20 grams. I was told this was found with a metal detector about 25 years ago at an old park in Western Maryland. It appears to be silver but it is not. The ring cleaned up very nicely with soap and water. No other method of cleaning was used. Inside the ring is "CC" and a few other numbers and letters. The impression is very light but it appears to be a "1" and a "P R"....but I am not sure. Very nice old ring with very fine, detailed workmanship. CONDITION: Very good condition....just some light wear and a bit of light wear on top of the gemstone. SHIPPING & PAYMENT: $3.00 to anyw in the U.S. or Canada. $6.00 to the rest of the world.
