This most sought after and instantly recognisable powder compact was produced by the American company Volupte' in the 1940's. This novelty compact is shaped like a ladies hand and is made of brushed goldtone metal. The inner door is marked Volupte USA and in side w the puff is has the patent # 120,347. The compact retains its shape and has the original puff with Volupte on it.

This compact has 3 rows of rhinestones on the wrist but 3 are missing. The mirror is in perfect condition. Everything is like new inside the compact and is bright and shiny. All hinges and catches are in great working order. All in all, this piece is almost perfect condition except the 3 missing rhinestones and a few light scratches on the outside.
