This Vintage W. Haid Mantel Chime Clock which is "Made In West Germany" is in Very Good Condition. I purchased this clock at an estate sale and have be running it for a few days and it seems to be in excellent working condition. The time is accurate and the chimes strike loud and with clearity, the chimes strike on every half hour and hour. The crystal on the clock is in excellent condition showing no cracks or scratches along with the brass o-ring which shows great patina and the hinge is also in excellent condition and moves freely. The outline of the face is metal and in very good condition showing very little wear with no dents , dings, or scratches and the middle is wood which also is in very good condition. The hands look to be brass and are in very good condition showing very little wear with some patina. The key which is in excellent condition winds the time and chime knobs with ease which are also in excellent condition. The cabinet of this clock is wood and in excellent condition showing no wear and only one small surface scratch you can barely see and a small piece of the molding which has broken off approx. 1" as seen in picture (7) very minor.
