Pictured is the classic Wahl Eversharp Fifth Avenue fountain pen manufactured in the eary 1940's. Probably the most famous attributes about this pen are its 14 kt solid gold cap, barrel end, and nib. In today's economy it would be worth more melted down than it is as a fountain pen. But I wouldn't have the heart to do the dastardly deed. The cap alone probably weighs an ounce. This is a beautiful pen in a color that I have never seen Wahl Eversharp use except in the Fifth Avenue. I doubt that this particular pen ever saw everyday use. It was one of my first acquisitions back in the 80's and I bought it from a retiring collector. The only marks that the surface shows are the ones that are acquired from normal handling. It appears to be a medium. The only restoration I had to do was replace the bladder. The pen length is 5 1/4 inches capped and 5 inches with the cap removed. I ship using USPS insured First Class Mail with a flat rate of $4.00. International shipments are the same flat rate of $4.00 but ,of course, cannot include insurance. I usually ship out the next day after receiving payment which may be made by either PayPal, money order,
