Pictured is a Wahl Eversharp Gold Seal, Personal-Point,lever filling fountain pen in black and pearl plastic manufactured around 1930. It has a roller pocket clip which is fastened at the top of the cap so it was named a Soldier Clip. The plastic is still smooth and shiney and has no major gouges, cracks, or scratches. As you can see from the picture, the imprint is still quite crisp.The pearl in these pens had a strong tendency to stain either from ink or bladder rubber fumes, but this pen is relatively well preserved compared to most. The pearl still maintains its irridescence when held to the light. The gold seal is a double check located just below the clip. The trim is all gold filled. The Personal Point feature means that you can change the nib just by screwing out the old one and screwing in one that better suits your writing preference (see picture). The present 14 kt nib is labelled Wahl Eversharp Gold Seal Signature. The feed has an M on it and the nib looks like a medium and displays a medium flex. It is perfectly shaped and still maintains its full complement of iridium. The pen length is 4 3/4 inches capped and 4 3/8 inches with the cap removed. The cap OD is 1/2 inch.This pen has been totally restored and has occupied a cherished place in my collection for many years. I ship using USPS insured First Class Mail with a flat rate of $4.00. International shipments are the same flat rate of $4.00 but ,of course, cannot include insurance. I usually ship out the next day after receiving payment which may be made by either PayPal, money order, or cashiers check. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied, you may return it within a seven day period, and if it is in the same condition it was shipped, I will return the purchase price minus shipping charges.
