Amazing Castrol quart pouring Jug in almost original condition. I took photos indoors using a flash (last 7 photos) the jug did not stand out as the photos did not do it justice. The first 4 photos were taken outside on a sunny day. The jug is completely covered in old dried oil which must have been darkish in colour hence the true colours not standing out. This has also I presume helped in preserving the jug as whilst there is a small trace of rust on the joins this is very minimal and there are no leaks or damage normally found anywhere. There was a temptation to "degrease" the jug to show the true green and red and black lettering. I will let you decide if you want to do this. It a has the aged patina you just could not replicate however I wonder what the colours would be like without the dried oil. This would be a perfect addition to a 30s 40s garage theme as it is in my opinion !
