Baroque is one of Wallace's more popular and gorgeous patterns. Wallace calls this vegetable bowl size no. 207. It is unusual to find heavy vintage silver plate in such good condition. It is from a North Carolina estate. The scalloped rim is 1 ½ inches wide with the engraving from 3/8 inch to as wide as 1 ¾ inches for six plates, extending into the top of the bowl. The opening of the bowl is 7 ½ inches, and its body is fluted. T are no flaws in this part of the piece. T are light scratches from wear in the bottom of the bowl and one very small dent with the copper showing through the silver plate. These small flaws are not visible when the bowl has something in it. This stunning bowl is 9 inches in diameter and 2 ¾ inches tall. It weighs a little over 2 lbs. so shipping weight will be a close to 3 ½ pounds with the proper packing. 70
