This is a vintage Waltham car clock - with the Hudson Super Six logo. The case measures 2 3/4 inches in diameter; originally window-mount but bracket is missing (replaced by slipshod hanger soldered onto back which still has holes for bracket attachment); has screw-type nickel bezel with beveled crystal (cracked) and back cover which we could not remove (set screw broken off?). Although the inside could not be photographed, we expect it to be a typical 7 jewel, 8 day Waltham movement; has short stem (approx 1/4 inch); hand set works but clock (tightly wound when found) will not run. The logo dial, an important feature of this clock, is in excellent condition; minute hand is missing; crystal has two cracks which do not show on photo. With some restoration, this clock would make a great addition to your collection. Hudson was a pioneer company in the development of a successful six cylinder engine. The company was once one of the top three automobile manufacturers in the US and the Hudson Super Sis is a classic. If you have one to restore and need a period clock, this is the one.
