I am selling this beautiful vintage Waterford Crystal decanter for a friend. It was given to him as a birthday gift, had liquor poured into it once and was then rinsed and packed away these many years! He is trying to empty his closets, so you have the opportunity to purchase this vintage Waterford decanter and enjoy it's beauty. It is such a shame to have a lovely item like this hidden away in a box!

I could find no chips, no scratches, nothing that would keep this decanter from being described as mint! The stopper does not even have wear marks on it! Although I do not know the pattern or age of the decanter, you will receive the orginal packing box that the decanter was purchased in. T is no pattern name on the box, but t are two numbers on the box, if that helps anyone. First no. 2521 is on printed on the side of the box and p. 827559 is taped to the bottom of the box. If you recognize the pattern please let me know so that I can post it on for everyone. The decanter has the acid etched Waterford symbol on the bottom, but it is very, very faint as the marks on these truly vintage pieces of crystal tend to be. My camera (and my photography skill) is just not good enough to capture the image.

A very kind and knowledgable ebayer has informed me that the pattern name is Kildare. This pattern has been removed from production by Waterford, but like all Waterford patterns, it is never truly discontinued. They will actually hand make an individual piece for you should you break one that is out of production!
