Lovely Waterford crystal sugar and creamer set....I've seen these advertised on ebay as Alana pattern, but I don't think it is??? either that or they changed the pattern a little over the years?? Any help would be appreciated. calls this "giftware"...does that mean it doesn't have a pattern name??.Waterford has been acid etched on the bottom of both pieces, but that was done before the star burst was cut into the bottom...I think this is the way they did it with the older pieces made in Ireland, as compared to the newer pieces that are not always made in Ireland and the star bursts are shorter than they were made originally...I am not an expert on this so any help, especially with the right pattern name would be appreciated.. Creamer is 3 7/8" tall x 4 7/8" wide at handle and spout..Sugar is 4" round and 2.25" tall.
