Up for auction I have a vintage black Waterman fountain pen, I'm assuming its a 52 due to the number on the bottom. I have attained a very large lot of fountain pens that I have been putting up for some time now. I am not a pen expert but will describe the pens to the best of my ability. I am unsure of there working condition although they came from a fountain pen collector. They have not been tested and most likely need to be cleaned. They are being sold AS IS. Nice tall thick pen shows overall age and use wear. Silver clip on cap is marked Clip Cap with the Ideal logo and a little ball at the end of it. There is some white age wear discoloration on the side. The bottom of pen says 52 and the numbers are reddish. The little silver level says Ideal and shows some age wear to it. Bottom of pen is marked Waterman's Reg US Pat Off Made In USA, this same info is repeated again on the body with the added Ideal logo on it. Black to pen shows some fading. Pretty chevron pattern to it. Gold nib shows wear and says Waterman's Reg US Pat Off 2 and something else underneath that I can't quite make out. Pen measures almost 5 1/2" long.
