Here we have a Watkins Rapier 33 Guitar. It was made in England about 1962/63 as you can see from the photos she is in beautiful condition for a guitar of 50 odd years old, but there are signs of some lacquer cracks to the body here & there ( again to be expected for it`s age ) but to small to show up in the photos & does not effect the playability at all just cosmetic. Also the tuners are a bit tarnished see photos, The neck is straight, with no signs of wear to the fretboard or to the frets. All the electrics work as they should. This guitar still has it`s original tremolo bar & also comes with it`s original hard case. The frets have been polished & the fretboard has been lemon oiled & has had a new set of 009-040 strings fitted. This is a very clean & collectable guitar with a great 60`s sound. There is lots of info on the net about these guitars. I have recently been informed that this guitar is one of the early ones as it has the red painted neck as later ones had unpainted / maple necks. Also the tuners changed to covered tuners. So here we have an all original 1962/63 very rare & collectable guitar still with it`s original tremolo bar & case and all fully working. So grab yourself an original classic 60`s guitar. Please checkout my 100% feedback. Postage will be £12.00 mainland uk only Will be sent next working day of read more
