Watt Pottery's � apple pattern can be dated from the leaves. Originally, the apples had three leaves; after 1958 two leaves were used. � These pieces are pre-1958. The apple pattern was one of the most popular and after 1932 were decorated� freehand� . � The Watt Pottery plant closed in 1965.Both the casserole and cover are ribbed, the casserole is approximately 7 1/2" in diameter and the matching cover is approximately 7 3/4". � There is a slight indentation on the rim of the cover that appears to have been there before the item was glazed. � On bottom of casserole there is minor chipping due to natural use and there is a spot that is slightly discolored.� There are no returns or refunds so please examine the photos carefully before bidding.
