Unususual Japonesque-themed Wedgwood Jasper Ware Box, a design of peony blossoms against an oriental-yellow ground, as shown. A vintage estate piece with definitely some age, but probably not extremely old; I would date it to about the 1970s (vintage but not antique). Touch is rather light on the marks, and only the "England" in Wedgwood's typical "Made in England" mark can really be read clearly. However, this is obviously Wedgwood Jasper Ware on even casual inspection. Authenticity is guaranteed and your money (less shipping) cheerfully refunded with *no questions asked* if you buy it and don't agree that it is authentic after you see it in person, but check out the pics and my "Item as Described" feedback stars; you aren't going to be disappointed. Measures about 3.5" tall and 3" in diameter and it comes across as larger in real life than these dimensions possibly imply. It is a nice medium-sized piece.
