All original , vintage( 1880's-1910) Wells Fargo & Co Express hitch, tether weight employed by the express messenger to keep the horse from wandering off while the messenger was conducting business. Diameter approximatel 7 1/2" with weight about 35 pounds. Fourth photo from James Bartz' book on Wells Fargo "COMPANY PROPERTY". Thanks for your bid.
